A time bank is a way for people to share skills with others in their local community and be rewarded for it – in time. For every hour of time you give providing a service for another participant, you receive one credit.

As a time bank member you give... a few hours of your spare time when you want to, doing the things you enjoy. You receive the opportunity to get some help for yourself, if you need it. The satisfaction of making the quality of life better for someone else.

You can earn time credits by providing a service for another member or alternatively you can attend workshops and spend time credits for participating. You can also earn time credits if you would like to run your own workshop for the community, providing yourself with recognised work experience.

The total number of hours of volunteering since April 2010 is now 25,936 hours as at 31st December 2013!
