The West Euston Time Bank

Camden Green Fair 2006

On Sunday 4th June 12pm - 7pm was the wonderful 2006 Camden Green Fair in Regents Park, central London.

Time bank members arrived early to set up for the busy day ahead. It was estimated over 20,000 people came on the day, so what a wonderful excuse to network!

We set up our information stall and and had a very healthy community picnic for anyone who wanted to hear about time banking.

It is our main mission over the course of next year to help set up another time bank in the Camden borough, and we think what better way can we tell people about what we do than show them!

The time bank purple poets never let us down and performed their beautiful poetry in the beautiful sunshine!

The Third Age drama group also performed their sketch 'Salad days' on behalf of West Euston Time Bank to tie in with our community picnic.

Many people were attracted to our stall because of our colourful banner which was made by local West Euston Girls who attended our 'Speaking Out' project we had earlier in the year. A big thank you to them!

A great day was had by all and we are very much looking forward to next year's event. Hopefully side by side with another Camden Time Bank stall!
