The West Euston Time Bank

 International Women’s Day Dance

         4pm-7pm Saturday 11^th March 2006 at the Dick Collins Hall

West Euston Time Bank joined forces with the Third Age project to  organise this exciting event.  

 It was our joint mission to bring all ages and backgrounds of women together to celebrate what International Women Day stands for!

As you can see there were  lots of activities  to partake in, for as well as the dance workshops and live performances, there was also henna, massages, face painting, raffle and a delicious world food buffet courtesy of Time Bank community cafe!

The variety of performances included a Bollywood dance performance, Zouk Lambada, Belly Dancing, Spanish Flamenco and Belly dancing and more!

Our talented Time Bank purple poets read their poems at the event and gave out children's prizes.

Many thanks to all those who gave their time in preparation for the event and on the day itself. Your efforts were truly amazing and we shall all remember the day with a big smiles on our faces!

         Third Age member Kath won the top prize of a £100 Topshop shopping spree in our raffle. Many thanks to Top Shop at Oxford Circus and Regency Hair & Beauty for providing wonderful donations to the raffle and making the day even more special!
