Hazard Awareness Project

This project brought together older people with young people in identifying and recording local hazards which then formed the basis of a report and exhibition held at the Town Hall. 

Several walkabouts took place within the local area during which older people identified what they saw as safety hazards e.g. broken paving and the young people took photographs using digital cameras provided by the Time Bank. 

An exhibition of photographs with quotations from older people was put on display in the Town hall in February 2004.

Both the older and young people were able to earn credits on this project which were subsequently spent in the cafe!
