The West Euston Time Bank

West Euston Community Festival 2006

On 29th July 2006 West Euston Time Bank made a prime contribution to the festival. Throughout the event we had a stall with all our information which was located at the front of the new Hpod.

Time bank member Rita manned the stall and organised the community raffle on behalf of West Euston Partnership. She later gave out some fantastic prizes out on the stage. Some raffle prizes were donated by West Euston residents.

In the Hpod time bank members Anita, Gloria, Vivienne, June and Lucy served drinks and fruit to all the thirsty residents who came to enjoy the day.

Our Friday community cafe will be relocating here in the very near future so it was fantastic to get a taste of what it was like to work in the kitchen. Our new facilities are great!

On stage we had the purple poets read their own poetry as well as some from other members from time banks across the whole of London. As always, some of their poetry was very moving and as a result they were pictured in a local paper.

We also gave out fliers to people letting them know of our new website and took a list of names of those interested in joining time bank. Overall it was a very productive and most importantly enjoyable day!
