1. Volunteering for our community programme

The West Euston Time Bank runs a wide variety of activities and events for the community that are described in our ACTIVITIES section of the web site. We are only able to provide such activities and services with the active involvement and support of our members as volunteers. Below are just a few volunteering opportunities on offer:

• Helping out in the Time Bank Office
  

  Helping with mail outs, producing and distributing our community newsletters and leaflets
  in providing help and advice to visitors of the H Pod where we are based.

• Helping out in our Community Café
  

  This normally runs from 12.30 pm – 2.00 pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and
  provides a low cost nourishing meal for local pensioners and local residents.

• Helping with our After School Clubs
  

  These are on Wednesdays and Fridays 4 – 7 pm during school term time helping to set up
  and clear up, assisting children with their homework, keeping registers etc.

• Helping with our Parent & Toddler Group (“Little Fingers”)
  

  This runs from 10 am – 12 noon on Thursdays and aims to provide a child safe and
  creative, stimulating environment for babies and toddlers under 5 years of age.

We aim to offer training and support to members carrying out the above roles.

2. Volunteering on a one to one basis in offering and receiving help and support from
other Time Bank members

Time Bank members have a huge range of skills, knowledge and talent that can be available to others as time exchanges. The Time Bank Exchange Cartoon Questionnaire provides a range of possibilities for you to consider giving and receiving. By doing so members can build up time credits that may also be used to be exchanged for reduced price coach trips, free tickets to events and more!
